For more than two decades, I have worked in every dimension of nightlife from bartending and management to consulting and expert testimony. My career began inside high-capacity venues, where I learned the realities of crowd behavior, alcohol service, and staff control. That hands-on foundation evolved into consulting work, allowing me to advise hundreds of bars, nightclubs, and hospitality establishments across North America and beyond.

As CEO of Rideout Hospitality Consulting, I’ve built operational systems for leading brands, trained management teams, and developed risk mitigation strategies that enhance both safety and profitability. My consulting extends internationally, including venues in Mexico and the Bahamas. I’ve also collaborated with media networks such as Bar Rescue on Spike TV, helping venues improve standards and accountability.

Today, my focus lies in expert witness consultation. I assist attorneys in understanding how staff behavior, service decisions, and environmental factors contribute to incidents involving alcohol-related injuries or negligence. Each evaluation is based on verified operational standards and backed by real-world experience.
